What began as a quarter-acre plot in 1984 has flourished into a small estate of meticulously tended coffee, thus earning the Kurias an exporter’s license, after 40 years of farming. Having their own license allows them to bypass Kenya’s centralized auction and negotiate fairer prices through direct trade. The Kurias are deeply rooted in their community and are reinvesting in Solai. In 2024, they contributed computers and school supplies for elementary-level students at Solai Nyakinyua Primary.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis lot features Kenyan AB, the most widely produced grade of Kenyan coffee.
